SpamTrap setup instructions

Apple Mail for Mac OSX

1. Open Apple Mail
2. Open the Mail menu then select Preferences.
3. Open Accounts, select your account then select the Edit button
4. Note: before you proceed, we recommend you write down your email settings as they currently appear in your email program. That way, it will be easy to change back later if you need to.
5. Go to User:, place your cursor at the end of this entry, type in the @ character followed by exactly what appears in your incoming mail server field.
6. Place your cursor in the Incoming Mail Server: field, delete everything that is there and type in pop.spamtrap.net.au.
7. Click OK.
8. To ensure that your settings changes have taken effect, close Apple Mail and reopen it.
9. The next time you check your mail it will be filtered via SpamTrap.
